“I'm a loser baby”
- Beck

In the movie, “It's A Wonderful Life” the main character saw how the world would have been if he had never been born.

I hope Senator Joe Lieberman never reviews life in that fashion. Lieberman might see how the world would be better if he had never been born.

Al Gore needed to pick up one electoral vote to be President. If he had picked a running mate like John Edwards or Dick Gephardt, he may have gotten that extra vote.

The world would be a lot different. No war in Iraq , no tax cuts for the rich, no tepid response to hurricanes, no alienation from the other countries in the world.

I blame Gore for making a terrible pick. I guess he was looking for someone with less charisma than himself.

He found him. Lieberman comes across as slightly better than dead.

I wouldn't mind if Lieberman were just boring. Al Gore won't wow you but he is a solid guy and would have been a good president. He was also a loyal and faithful Vice President to Bill Clinton.

Faith and loyalty are not big on Lieberman's agenda. His history is Joe, Joe and only Joe.

He has bamboozled the media into thinking he is selfless when the opposite is true.

Lieberman's rise to national fame came from being disloyal to Clinton and fellow Democrats.

Lieberman stood up on the floor of the United States Senate and denounced his "friend" Bill Clinton for marital infidelities.

Joe was not looking to help his "friend", he was looking for some cheap headlines. The media bought it hook, line and sinker.

I have friends with martial problems but don't offer advice to them in a public speech.

All who knew President Clinton's knew he couldn't keep his pants on. If Lieberman wanted to be a friend, he could have talked to him in private.

With adept media spin, Lieberman was able to package himself as "principled". Someone who "speaks his conscience." He uses those exact words on his taxpayer sponsored website.

Al Gore bought into the media hype and added Lieberman to the 2000 ticket. Lieberman, true to his nature, kept running for the Senate in Connecticut at the same time.

John Edwards made the decision not to run for re-election to the Senate when he ran for President. He put his full effort into winning the White House.

Lieberman had it both ways. While he was supposed to be helping Gore, he made sure to have a backup plan.

If Lieberman had given his full effort to getting Gore elected, they might have picked up enough votes in Florida or another state to win.

After helping Gore lose, Joe got Presidential fever himself in 2004. His only legislative achievement had been doing the bidding of big insurance companies. He figured that blowing a chance to be Vice President qualified him to lead the nation.

At that point, he lost touch with reality. Michael Jackson or Paris Hilton had a better chance to be President than he did.

His campaign was pathetic. I hope the people who ran it are hiding in another part of the world. The campaign spin was that Lieberman had JOEMENTUM! because he thought he came in third in some primary. When they recounted, it turned out he came in fifth. He still kept howling that he had JOEMENTUM!.

There is a different word for guys who come in fifth: Loser. Joe gave up the JOEMENTUM spiel and slinked back to the Senate.

Democrats are mad at Lieberman for sucking up to President Bush on Iraq and on supporting Bush's on the plan to change the social security.

What were they expecting? Lieberman has never been loyal to his party. Why should he start now?

I hope Joe never has to go through a "It's A Wonderful Life" experience if he does, he would realize all the harm he has inflicted on our country.

The nation has been a loser, baby.
